About Us

Harry Kimmel founded Kimmel Shoe Repair many years ago in 1942. The first Kimmel Shoe Repair was located in the basement of LS Ayers, in the Downtown Indianapolis area. Tony Tomasello started working for Kimmel at the age of 18. His son, Ronald Tomasello Sr, started working for Kimmel Shoe Repair at the age of 16. Ronald Tomasello SR. is now the current owner of Kimmel Shoe Repair. Making it a family owned business, Ronald Tomasello's family works for Kimmel Shoe Repair.

We currently have two locations. One located in Carmel and the other in Broad Ripple. The Broad Ripple Location is an original location that has been around since the early 1950's.
